Off Site Repairs

Missing fader caps? Unreliable jack sockets? Scratchy faders or control wheels? Everyone has been there at some point!

A totally “dead” amplifier, mixer or lighting desk or one that only works on the third day of the month if the date is an even number?

Tell us what the problem is and our experienced service engineers will give an honest assessment of what is best to do.

If it is deemed repairable, we will arrange for items to be taken into our workshop for a closer appraisal, cost quotation and repair.

On Site Troubleshooting

Some faults cannot be repaired at our workshops. Obvious examples being the fixed cabling and associated accessories of lighting, sound and AV installations.

In those cases, you can arrange for our engineers to visit your premises armed with diagnostic tools to ascertain and, ultimately, solve the problem for you.

On Site Servicing

Larger items of equipment are often impractical to bring to the workshop for servicing but, nonetheless, benefit from regular maintenance.

We can attend your premises to carry out servicing and repairs of fixed dimmers, sound racks and AV racks.

PAT Testing

PAT testing is a method of certifying the safety compliance of portable electrical appliances in the workplace.

More often than not, companies that offer PAT testing of general electrical appliances will not test theatre lighting instruments or associated portable equipment.

Central Theatre Supplies has specialist teams for PAT testing lighting rigs. We also provide a visual rig safety compliance report if requested to do so.

All results are logged and provided to the customer in the form of a detailed report.
